Nail-biting finish for Premier Cup

After four days, 3 games a day, each 21 ends, it all came down to the last bowl by Skip Bernadette Hay. And what a dream-bowl it was! Four down to one up to give Thuringowa City the win.

At the beginning of the last round, three possible scenarios had emerged; Wangaratta, South Townsville and Thuringowa City were all in with a chance.

The stars aligned perfectly for Thuringowa as the other two teams fell away.

Congratulations Jacinta Wallace, Julie Mulroney, Corinne Dibnah, Bernadette Hay, Kathleen Shimeld and Manager Carol Williams.

Thank you to Premier Cup sponsor, Maryanne Hamilton from Fiducian Financial.
