Amalgamation Rules Under Scrutiny

HERE’S YOUR CHANCE TO HAVE A SAY!

The DRAFT Constitution and By Laws for the future amalgamated bodies of NQDLBA and NQDMBA have been emailed to Member Clubs for consideration.

The Constitution is based on the Model Rules from the Office of Fair Trading and there is minimal opportunity for change – most of it is mandated.

The By Laws is a working document that can be amended as required to reflect the thinking of the time.

NQ District Clubs are ‘Members’ of the two amalgamating associations and all correspondence must come through the Clubs.

If you would like to be part of the draft process, please contact your club for a copy of the proposed documents.

Comments are due back by the end of January 2026.
