New Era For NQ District Bowls

North Queensland District Bowls Association Inc. Officially Incorporated.

We are pleased to announce that, effective 9 July 2026, the Ladies and Mens’ associations have officially amalgamated and been incorporated as North Queensland District Bowls Association Inc. under Certificate IA4948494.

While confirmation of the incorporation was only recently received following an email enquiry, this marks an important milestone in bringing our associations together as one unified organisation.

The elected interim Executive (Michael Blake, Glenda Mann & Jodie Giessmann) will now meet to plan the next stage of the transition. This will include developing a timeline for electing committee members and progressing the Association’s ongoing functions and governance.

Further updates will be provided to clubs over the next couple of weeks as this work progresses.

In the meantime, the operations of the existing associations will continue as planned. All scheduled events, competitions, and meetings will proceed as normal.

Until further notice, correspondence will continue to be managed through nqsteeringcommittee@gmail.com,  along with the existing Ladies’ and Men’s email accounts. Any changes to communication channels will be advised in due course.

We sincerely thank all clubs and members for your patience, support, and cooperation throughout this transition. We look forward to working together as the new North Queensland District Bowls Association Inc. and to an exciting future for bowls across our District.
